Corpus of the Archaeological Glass Collections in the Veneto, vol. 6
 
The volume is devoted to Roman glass materials preserved at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Este. Following the introduction and the reconstruction of the history of the collections, the catalogue analyses the main documented types — balsamaria (in their various morphological variants), glass rods, beakers, bottles, jugs, cups, pots and lids, plates, and miscellaneous materials — examining their formal and production characteristics and placing them within the context of glass production and distribution in the Veneto region.
The volume includes colour plates and graphic plates, appendices of a historical and chronological nature, a general bibliography, and a glossary of ancient glass.
