New educational activities
Free guided tours will start on September 14
The educational program for schools and guided tours at LE STANZE DEL VETRO, curated by Artsystem, will resume on the occasion of the new exhibition “Vittorio Zecchin: Transparent Glass for Cappellin e Venini” (11 September 2017 – 7 January 2018)
The educational program for the school year 2017/2018 will be presented to teachers on Wednesday 27 September afternoon. For more information and booking please write to email@example.com. You will be able to download the complete programme from early October from the page “Teachers and students”.
On the occasion of The Venice Glass Week free guided tours will be organized without need for booking from 14 September to 17 September at 12 noon in English and at 3pm in Italian.
On 17 September at 4pm, a special Sunday outing for families – SUNglassDAY – will be organized, focusing on the theme of glass transparency, taking our visitors on an exciting tour of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, starting with the exhibition devoted to Vittorio Zecchin and proceding to ‘Qwalala’, the outdoor installation by Pae White.
From Saturday 23 September, and for the entire duration of the exhibition, there will be free guided tours without need for booking every Saturday and Sunday, with new hours: at 12 noon in English and at 3pm in Italian.
Fun SUNglassDAYs will be organized on Sunday 5, 12, 26 November and 3 December at 4pm, each one devoted to a different theme. Three special SUNglassDAYs will also take place on Sunday 15 October, 19 November and 17 December at 4pm.
Three Fuso-Fuso!! events are scheduled on 13 October, 10 November and 1 December at 5pm, featuring, as special guests, experts in the history and techniques of glassmaking.
Groups of more than 15 people are requested to contact the educational secretary by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to give notice of their visit and enable everyone to have a pleasant experience at the exhibition.
