On occasion of the exhibition 1912-1930 Murano Glass and the Venice Biennale, the guided tours for adults continue, allowing you to learn more about the world of contemporary glass, discovering its history, techniques, artists and key figures.
Every weekend, with the guided tour Translucid Wizardry you can discover the exhibition dedicated to the presence of Murano artistic glass at the Venice Biennale. With an expert guide you will learn about artists, techniques and key protagonists that made the history of the contemporary Venetian art glass. Tours are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays, at 11am in English and 4pm in Italian. You can also book a guided visit – for individuals or private groups up to 20 people – on any other day (except on Wednesdays, when the exhibition is closed to the public) at least two days in advance of the requested date.
On Saturday 23 November at 4pm don’t miss the last appointment with Glass Portraits–Artist monographs, a special visit with an in-depth look at Vittorio Toso Borella’s glass works, the Murano decorator renowned for having created the San Marco bell-tower goblet.
