Visits and Meetings

On occasion of the exhibition 1932-1942 Murano Glass and the Venice Biennale, the free guided tours are back, allowing you to learn more about the world of Murano modern glass, discovering its history, techniques, artists and key figures.

Every Saturday and Sunday, at 11am in English and at 4pm in Italian, join us for free guided tours of our exhibition dedicated to the presence of Murano glass at the Venice Biennale between 1932 and 1942.

Additionally, every last Saturday of the month at 4pm, join us for Glass Portraits – Monograph on the Furnace, a special guided tour through the exhibition. Step into the world of the furnaces, artists and pioneers who shaped the history of glassmaking: we await you on Saturday 22 November at 4pm to learn more about the Orsoni glassworks together with Laura Tonicello, cultural manager at the Orsoni furnace, who will lead visitors through the historic workshop and its traditions, joined by a mosaic artist demonstrating live how a mosaic is created and assembled.

You can also book a free guided visit – for individuals or private groups up to 20 people – on any other day (except on Wednesdays, when the exhibition is closed to the public) by calling us on +39 041 8627167 or by sending an email to: lestanzedelvetro.didattica@coopculture.it at least 2 days before the requested date.
