The Glass Study Centre enriches its collections with new archives by leading artists, including Cristiano Bianchin.

The extensive and multifaceted archive documenting Cristiano Bianchin's career in the field of glass art, includes 1,100 cataloguing records, providing insight into the Venetian artist's production and exhibition activity between 1988 and 2008. The graphic and photographic collections are also an invaluable resource for understanding the evolution of glass design and the history of glass in Italy and internationally. They provide insights into one of the most distinctive contemporary figures in the glassmaking scene. Through the wealth of digital materials, together with sketchbooks and ephemera preserved in the analogue archive, it is possible to trace the key stages in the career of this artist, who has made a significant contribution to glass art.

The inclusion of slides, along with photographs illustrating his production and creativity, finally offers a comprehensive overview of his collaborations with the de Majo and Anfora glassworks, revealing his approach to design.
