For 2022, the Fondazione Giorgio Cini is promoting two new glass scholarships thanks to the contribution of Pentagram Stiftung. The first is aimed at cataloguing and digitising the archival collections of the Glass Study Centre, within the Fondazione Giorgio Cini’s Art History Institute. Lasting six months, the fellowship is intended for graduate students, PhD students and post-docs, preferably with experience in the field of archiving and cataloguing.

A call for applications has also been published for a residential scholarship devoted to the study of glassmaking in Venice in the 20th century. This second scholarship, also lasting six months, is intended for Italian and international graduate students, PhD students or post-docs, who will propose a research topic in relation to the archive collections held at the Glass Study Centre.

The application deadline is 31 August 2022.
