Corpus of the Archaeological Glass Collections in Veneto, vol. 4
 
This volume presents the study of ancient glass preserved at the Museo Nazionale Concordiese in Portogruaro and in numerous civic and private collections in the Polesine area, within the framework of the Corpus of the Archaeological Glass Collections in Veneto. After a historical overview of the collections, the book offers an extensive catalogue of the artefacts, organised by typology and by provenance groups.
The volume is accompanied by colour plates, inventory concordances, a general bibliography, and a glossary of ancient glass dedicated to forms, decorative and manufacturing techniques, and technical terminology. It constitutes an essential reference work for the study of archaeological glass in the areas of Concordia and the Polesine.
