Corpus of the Glass Collections in Friuli Venezia Giulia, vol. 2
The volume is devoted to Roman glass materials preserved at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Aquileia, with particular reference to tableware. The study analyses the main documented types — small amphorae, beakers, mugs, bottles, jugs, cups, plates, kantharoi, skyphoi, rhyta, and other forms — examining their morphological and production characteristics and placing them within the context of Roman glass production and distribution in the Upper Adriatic area.
The volume includes colour plates, the systematic catalogue of the finds, plates out of text, tables of objects studied but excluded from the catalogue, concordances, and a bibliography.
