Corpus of the Glass Collections in Friuli Venezia Giulia, vol. 1
 
This volume inaugurates the Corpus of the Glass Collections in Friuli Venezia Giulia and presents the study of the ancient glass preserved at the Archaeological Museum of Udine. The core of the publication consists of materials from Aquileia, in particular the Toppo collection, complemented by objects from other collections and from more recent excavations.
Through a typological and chronological analysis of the artefacts, the catalogue reconstructs aspects of glass production and circulation in the Upper Adriatic area during the Roman period. The scholarly entries, accompanied by illustrative plates and bibliography, make the volume an essential reference work for the study of ancient glass and the archaeological heritage of the region.
