Since his early years working in Murano, Carlo Scarpa devoted himself to the display of works of art. Over the course of his life, this activity occupied a predominant place in his practice — to such an extent that today we can say he was among the few who shaped the very foundations of modern museography, in Italy and far beyond its borders.
