Quaderni del Vetro

12,00

Giorgio Vigna developed his artistic practice between Verona, Venice, Rome, and Milan. In 2003, he created La Radura for Nancy Olnick and Giorgio Spanu, while in 2013 the Museo di Castelvecchio in Verona hosted his solo exhibition Stati naturali. For Carlo Scarpa’s fountain, Vigna created the glass installation Acquaria, which was donated to the city in 2021 on the occasion of the exhibition Lapilli. In 2017, he presented Fuochi di rugiada at the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice in collaboration with Venini, and in 2023 he inaugurated Analogie at the Museo Eremitani in Padua. This text retraces the artist’s career on the occasion of the acquisition of his archive by the Glass Study Centre of the Institute of Art History at the Giorgio Cini Foundation.
