The educational programmes for schools are designed for every education level, allowing children and teenagers to have fun with an exciting mix of activities and games.
On the occasion of the exhibition 1948-1958 Murano Glass and the Venice Biennale, LE STANZE DEL VETRO offers different activities dedicated to schools for all age groups, designed to meet different needs, combining fun and learning.
For all school levels, the guided tour The Art of Glass – An Extraordinary Journey into the Material offers an immersive introduction to the history, techniques, and artistic drive of Murano glass in the post-war period.
For kindergarten (final year), the Antiscultura workshop invites children to play with shapes and materials, creating freeform works born from their imagination.
Primary school students take part in activities that encourage observation and collaboration, such as Vases in a Frame, Playing in the Rooms, and the special program I Trust You, You Trust Me, designed for first graders as an introduction and team-building experience.
For lower secondary school, Stickers Mania turns students into designers, inviting them to reinterpret the exhibition space using stickers inspired by the works on display.
Upper secondary school students engage in exploratory and creative writing workshops such as Kind Captions, while students from Art High Schools and Academies explore Hearts – Spades – Diamonds – Clubs, a hands-on program focused on craft, construction, and the dialogue between art, play, and design.
