SUNglassDAYs, the special appointments for families, will resume with guided tours for parents and special practical workshops for kids (7-12 years old), to coincide with the exhibition "Paolo Venini and his Furnace".
On 6th, 20th November and 4th December (at 4.pm), parents will be given a guided tour of the exhibition, while kids and young visitors will take part in special practical workshops and have fun with the typical "murrine" from Murano. During each workshop, kids will learn to design different patterns of "murrine" - checkers, wheels, stripes, dotted, etc. - and learn the famous ancient Murano technique using play-do.
All the educational activities are curated and run by Artsystem, they are free of charge, and can be booked through the toll free 800-662477 or artsystem@artsystem.it (Monday to Friday 10.00am - 5.00pm).
Fixed guided tours are also scheduled every Saturday and Sunday at 11am in English and at 5pm in Italian (for these, no booking is required).
