The educational activities for schools are designed for every education level, allowing children and teenagers to have fun with an exciting mix of activities and games.
On the occasion of the 1912-1930 Murano Glass and the Venice Biennale exhibition, LE STANZE DEL VETRO offers different activities dedicated to schools for all age groups, designed to meet different needs, combining fun and learning.
The Terrarium activity, dedicated to preschoolers, will allow children to enjoy the works on display, freeing their imagination and creating their own little glass world using recycled materials. Younger primary school children, after seeing how versatile glass is, will be able to challenge themselves by creating their own little compositions with the Glasstangram and Fragile but not too much! activities. Students up to middle school, with the activity My ‘Rooms for Glass’, will have to put their critical thinking into play, modifying on paper with their classmates the exhibition layout, putting themselves in the shoes of the curators. With I’ll be the Art Director Today! high school students can play the role of art directors: after the guided tour, they will be divided in groups and they will take a representative photograph about the themes dealt with and once printed and titled, it will become their personal exhibition poster. This activity can also be adapted for university students.
