Venezia – Murano|Il Museo del vetro

13,00

The Glass Museum of Murano, which was recently completely renovated, is probably the only place in the world where the art of glass is told from its origins: from the examples of Roman glass between the first and III century AD to the creations of the Renaissance, from the innovative virtuoso of the eighteenth century that anticipate the unexpected revival of the glass at the end of the nineteenth century to the experiments of the twentieth century. Certainly it is the only museum dedicated to the art of glass inserted in a production still strongly rooted and active, thanks to the many kilns and glass factories still operating in Murano.
