The meetings with special guests, experts on the history of glass, and the appointments for families at LE STANZE DEL VETRO, continue on the occasion of the ‘Vittorio Zecchin: Transparent Glass for Cappellin and Venini’ exhibition. Guided tours for adults and children are scheduled on 21 November.
New Fuso Fuso!!, the cycle of meetings with experts in the history and glassmaking techniques as special guests, continues. The second appointment is on 10 November (at 5 pm) with Chiara Squarcina, director of the Glass Museum in Murano, as guest. On 1 December (at 5 pm) it will be the turn of Andrea Tosi, glass historian at the Abate Zanetti School of Glass, along with the master Giovanni Nicola.
There is also a rich programme of SUNglassDAYs, the Sunday outings conceived for families taking place on 5, 12, 26 November and Sunday 3 December, at 4 pm, each one focused on a different subject, of which two special appointments for kids (those of 5 November and 3 December), entitled Vetrabolario, are dedicated to discover the English language through the lexicon of the world of glass.
Visitors can then take part in two SUNglassDAY specials on Sunday 19 November with the presentation of the book ‘Filastrocche di vetro’ and on 17 December with a special story for children inspired by the magical atmospheres of Vittorio Zecchin.
On 21 November, on the occasion of the Festa della Madonna della Salute, LE STANZE DEL VETRO will also be open with guided tours in Italian for adults and children, who will thus be able to use the new educational brochures, at 12 noon and 3 pm.
The appointments are curated by Artsystem and are open to all by reservation (toll-free number 800-662477 Mon-Fri from 10 am to 5 pm; artsystem@artsystem.it).
